hey is there a secret handshake, secret knock, password, code or a frog you have to kiss to be able to pm and join in the fun vresidents have for nothing ??I know the annual rate is cheap but I read quite a few comments from posters that are marked citizens that comment as to the fact they pm and communicate privately and are active in resident functions ?? am I doing something wrong ?done something wrong ..is there an over ride or secret passage or do you have go thru an grueling initiation of some sort ??
look all I care about is fun and good times here but it should be equal and available to all if this is true what others are saying and to ones that play by the rules and respect all ,but if I am excluded for some reason or not exploring and finding the secret door so be it I guess !! LOL

Hey LL, there’s no secret passage or “behind the wall access”. It’s a combination of “certain individuals” creating hundreds of fake blogs in order to access the free VC trial period and using PM for those free days. I’ve watched and I’ve seen it done. That’s why I suggested years ago when I was a paying Resident that admin should require a credit card for the free trial. It would have cut down on the scammer(s).

As for the private communications. That again is a matter of creating a fake blog and only using it to chat with someone privately on the guestbook. The blog shouldn’t be used for licks, commenting or following in order to keep it private. That’s an old hack that goes back to the old VW site days. Of course certain individuals want to make it seem as if it’s “special privileges” when the truth is anyone can do that for privacy.

You’re not missing out on anything unless you want to be part of the “club”. Ha!!!

As Ms Bare points out creating new profiles is a way folks use to aquire free resident days, although with the lack of resident posts it is being used less frequently. Setting up one on one or small group profiles has long been used as a means to engage with privacy. However there is a sizeable community active "behind the wall" where at this point the majority of interaction occurs.
