As announced last nite, we just opened the new
FAVOR A PIC OR VIDEO
function! Go to the single posting page of any posting. You can see "Favor" at the right side. Click it. It will turn to "Un-Favor".
The posting now appears on your brandnew page "/favorites/ on your blog and can be seen by all.
The link to your favorite page shows on your "profile" page...only if you have any favs of course. We will add it your "me" top menu shortly!
ALSO: it is a good idea to look at my previous 2 posts too....I described 4 new navigation functions and the 4000 something new "Best of " pages we now have!

here are the latest important news about VCity.
1 - FOLLOW ME in order to receive my messages on your blog!
2 - We activated the "tag cloud". Those who added tags to their posts are visible and happy now - those who were lazy and did not add the tags cannot be located easily by the users!!! Please read VCity post tags if you don't how to work with this powerful community tool!!!!
3 - We activated the listings for "likes" and "followers" and stopped the endless notifications for likes and follows.
4 - We did A LOT of fine-tuning! And we added more server power!
5 - We will open the first "VCity directory" pages very soon. If you do not have any "profile photo" and no profile text", you will NOT appear there!
6 - We will start the first photo contests with awards on VCity very soon (and reduce the regular awards on VC)
7 - Reminder: Each of your blogs has its own domain name! If your nickname on VCity is "pussy" then your URL is "http://pussy.igorsclouds.com". You can post this link to your blog anywhere you like and attract people from outside. That might become important when the blog contests start....just giving you a hint!

Heya VCitizens and VResidents,
here is some fresh and new information regarding VCity.
1 - General
There will not be any updates regarding features and functions for the next four days. We need to stabilize a few things behind the scenes (like the databases and such) now that we experience much more registrations, traffic load and users as expected. Yesterday alone we counted more than 2500 signups....
2 - Next Week
We will replace the "Hurray, XYZ liked your pic" notifications by one page where you see who liked your post
Same with followers: You will have page, where all your followers are listed
"Endless scrolling" will be enabled and will allow you to scroll fast thru long blogs
- Followed by
I will publish a detailed "roadmap" with many more upcoming features, scheduled implementation dates, user rights and and and next week. For example "text formatting", "posting links", "posting videos", "opening and moderating groups", "Opening and moderating (camera) chats", "Change the layout of your blog" are just some few examples of what is on our "launch" agenda for the next weeks.
