I’ve been on here a long time too.

I visit the message boards every time I come on here, which is most days. They are basically just very rarely used at all now.

I even post, but rarely get replies. Not sure that there are too many left on here who are into contributing to the “community” thing.

If someone is bold enough to post on the message boards, they leave themselves open to abuse in responses.

Any intelligent member still here should by now have worked out just what goes on, who is behind which post / comment. What remains a mystery to me is the motivation that drives someone to do this? But hey “ c’est la vie”, we are all here to get something from the site - whatever it might be, and I know that we all have different needs, tastes, desires, kinks….

It’s just a shame that (for me at least) it’s just not as much fun as it was four years ago….

We are all looking for something specific to our likes / kinks, and this site has always met those needs for me.
(I admit to not being your typical perve though, lol. I've been to adultism and vw and those sites are just not to my liking)

I used to like the message boards but as you said, the abuse got to be too much.
Funny, I find myself coming back to the boards more and more in the hope that there's some civil discussions and contributing going on, and this week, I have been pleasantly surprised at having just that - civility and discussions!

Though I hark back to the old vw days, I've stayed away from the politics and backbiting that went on then and even now.
I do believe there were those "gaming" the system when there were contests, but I think that goes on wherever money is offered as a prize?
One of the few things that I don't get, even after being here so long, is those that want to rack up followers and likes. (not sure if the favorites apply to this thought?)

I find it very sad ...there once was lots of people and I believe there still is a few great people here that are interesting, experienced, funny, friendly and even flirty that have lots to share discussion wise and have lots to offerus thru chat/discussion/debate here and even post some great topics sexual or even non sexual of there own where we all can chip in and be entertained !!
I have tried and willing to continue , but admit it is frustrating !! I despise that most times it has become a shit show or argument when it should be a stirring mature conversation on what we all come here for .....sex !!
